I think this case can be made, and should be made. My only concern is
how we make it politely. There are countless freelancers and other
forms of non-office workers who use PTP nodes regularly to bring in a
paycheck. Some of them are probably scraping by, others are making
enough for cool cars, Macbook Airs and Canon 5Ds. We should tap them
(again, politely) to support the nodes that support them. If we can
cite some concrete betterment as part of the plea, that's even better.

Bottom line, if you're charging $50 or more an hour for work you do at
PTP nodes, in addition to your coffee shop purchases, it would be
awesome if you tossed a little cash towards PTP before the end of the
year. Even more awesome would be taking some of your non-billable
time, and helping PTP in a hands-on way.
