I just tried a recent version of eeebuntu and had some annoy things
like frames you couldn't see the bottom of and couldn't move up
sufficiently to see the bottom of.  Which is inconvenient when there
are buttons down there.  The older version of eeebuntu (from last
spring) doesn't have this problem iirc.

If you are using madwifi, you can configure an ap vap using the
wlanconfig utility.  The ath5k support is likely to be broken still.
