Hi David,

I'm forwarding your message to the Personal Telco General list, so you
can get some advice from the masses. You might also want to subscribe
to that list, as that's where this type of thing is usually discussed.
You can do that here: http://groups.google.com/group/ptp-general?hl=en

General list! If you want to reply to David, make sure to send the

Hi!

My name is Dave Heller and right now I'm in Iraq, I'll be getting back
this summer and I'd like very much to start wardriving as a hobby.  I do
a lot of geocaching now and I recently bought a laptop with (n) version
wireless, is there a specific antennae or wifi card I can start with?  I
like the idea of wardriving but there is a lot I don't know about the
wireless internet.  Any suggestions you might provide would be great.  I
have a gateway P-7811FX and I'd like to find a stable, effective
reliable antennae and card setup.

-Dave
