Scott, I too hate the forward/rewind mechanism in the PTR1. I'm wondering if those who use compact flash cards have to wait for this mechanism to engage. After all, a CF card doesn't have any mechanical parts, so I'm thinking forwarding and rewinding will happen instantly. For those that use a CF card with the PTR1, Is This true?
