Hi,
I have formatted CF cards as FAT as well as FAT32 and used both formats in
the P
PTR1 believe it or not. And I never noticed a difference in available space
or performance.

Subject: FLASH CARDS IN THE PTR1

Hi All,

This is really a general question for those who are responsible for the
firmware of the PTR1 but I pose it here in case anyone has comments.

As things are moving on and FLASH cards have become so popular, is it
likely that we will see the PTR1 being able to handle cards which are
formatted to FAT 32, or any other advanced format for that matter? This
would be really good for some of us, I'm sure, as a lot of the cards
with more memory capacity seem to be formatted this way.
