Dory: You are exactly right; the PCMCIA adaptor is a device into which you put your PC flash memory card, and then put the adaptor into the long slot at the right side of the PTR1. Just last night I went on line and ordered a 2GB memory card and adaptor from ecost.com; from which fact you might infer, correctly, that I have not yet recorded to any other media than CD on my plextalk. You would definitely be able to get the required adaptor from a computer store; I don't know about staples or best buy, but you can certainly make an inquiry of those retailers. I'm fairly confident that you could place the 128MB memory card you use with your otis into the adaptor and then transfer the files thereon to CD in MP3 format, but as I have never attempted this, I can't state this with certainty. I'm not sure how the files on the 128MB memory card are labeled under the otis protocol, but if you did a wholesale transfer of the card to a CD, the file labeling might not matter.
