Hi Ed, I will soon be putting songs from my records to mp3 with plextalk. 
Should i pause the recorder and the record player after every song, then hit 
the recorder for two seconds and then let the record go?  I shall do some 
experimenting here i guess.

Ed back  here,  Best thing to do is to stop the ptr1 after each song, 
because,,the machine may sense   there is tape noise,, and may count it as 
a track.   The
