If there was a PTXdist Wiki, the different use cases (e.g. install, set up, set up & build toolchain[s], set up & build projects [with different toolchains], add packages to projects, add patches to packages, add user applications to projects) could be put up as headings & subheadings, and then either the originators or experienced PTXdist users could fill in the details.
And other variations could be documented (or at least put up as an empty heading awaiting completion !) as required. Currently, trawling through a mail archive does not seem the best way to discover how to use what on the face of it should be a very useful package. -- ptxdist mailing list [email protected]
