Hildesheim, Germany - Pengutronix has released a board support package for
Phytec's phyCORE-MPC5200B-tiny PowerPC based CPU module.
Its to be used in conjunction with our PTXdist userland build system version
0.10.4. PTXdist is one of the major technology components of Pengutronix'
professional Open Source Embedded Linux Automation Services (OSELAS -
http://www.oselas.com).
The OSELAS.BSP-Phytec-phyCORE-MPC5200B-tiny-4 is a feature extending release.
Supported phyCORE-MPC5200B-tiny-4 major features:
* on board flash memory support for kernel and root filesystem
* network support through on chip network controller
* CAN support through BSD sockets for on chip CAN controller
* on chip I2C support
* I2C realtime clock support for correct system time
* I2C EEPROM access support
* 16 GPIO
* CAN bus debug support
