This is a Fedora 10 problem, the regex doesn'T match what Fedora 10 find --version outputs.

Having trouble installing ptxdist 1.0.1.

I am following through your OSELAS Quickstart for Phytec
phyCORE-MPC5200B-tiny manual, attempting to verify prerequisites
(section 1.2.3), and ./configure gives the error message:

"checking find version... configure: error: we need at least GNU 4.x"

However I do have the find utility, in /usr/bin/ and it claims to be
version 4.4.0.

Any tips? I attach the ptxdist config.log file.

What does "find --version" output on your host? Maybe some regular expressions to detect the version fail on your host's output.

Mine here outputs:
$ find --version
GNU find version 4.2.31
Built using GNU gnulib version 2007-02-24
Features enabled: D_TYPE O_NOFOLLOW(enabled) LEAF_OPTIMISATION
