THE REPUBLIC - FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE

The hidden reality is the referendum creates a new Constitution.
The fundamental changes to the existing powers of the Governor-
General include
A. The President MUST act on the advice of the Prime Minister or
his Ministers. There is no independent EXECUTIVE discretion
(Section 59).
B.. The Head of State can be removed at any time by the Prime
Minister without consultation with Cabinet,
the Senate or the House of Representatives (Section 62).
C.. Prerogative and Reserve powers become subject to, and
modifiable by, the Parliament (Section 70 A).
The effect of Section 59 , 62 and 70 A is to take the DISCRETION,
the PERMANENCE and PREROGATIVES and give them to the
Parliament. Political parties will be the real sovereign of Australia in
a republic.
Interestingly, there is a hint of what is to come in the republic�s
constitution. The definition for President (Section 127) was
introduced at the last minutes in the Senate. It says that "The
President means the President for the time being". Is the
Parliament to be the President after the time being ?
Remember that the Crown could have equally have been called the
People's Wealth, the People's Power or the COMMON-Wealth. Is
not the republic about taking all the power of the people and giving
it to the politicians so they can control the people�s wealth? Will
not the end result be that the rich-end of town gets control of all
that the workers of Australia have built over all their generations?
All land title is held in the name of the Crown and exercised under
the power of the Prerogatives. With Section 70 A the Parliament
can legislate to have a communist system of land tenure or it could
give all mineral rights to multinational companies!
The Governor-General has the job of ensuring the People�s Wealth
is held not just for present generations but for all future
generations. This is why the Parliament cannot, under our present
arrangements, transfer the People�s Wealth on a permanent basis
; it is why the Governor General is given real power NOT to pass all
Acts of the Parliament ==>> SO THE GOVERNOR GENERAL
CAN PROTECT THE COMMON-WEALTH OF THE PEOPLE. In
the republic the Parliament becomes the new sovereign and this
protection of YOUR wealth is lost to you and your children forever!.
