Commenting on the report last week on "ecount", a reader
wrote
as follows: "This will still be relatively useless unless it is possible for two ecount users to transfer "credits" without clearing them. If, OTOH, this is incorporated, it will be labeled "money laundering" and slandered out of existence. It would threaten the powers that be too much. Such a useful tool is unlikely to arise from a business entity that is under control by the US government. I look to an offshore gambling entity to eventually do this...much to the consternation of politicians everywhere." |
