Australians did NOT buy the republicans' 'snake oil', nor would Australians deviate from their firm belief in that OUR Constitutional Monarchy is the SAFEST form of Government. The unceremonious dumping of both Referendum questions on Saturday November 6th 1999, DISPELLED the rhetoric of the republican movement, the republican media, the international bankers, the self-interest elite's and their Canberra party politician mates, that Australians would vote overwhelming in favour of a republic and that this vote would flow on to the preamble question. There are 76 State Senators, elected by the people of that State, and 148 Members of the House of Representatives, elected by the people of State electorates. The majority of these party politicians and the political party that they represent WILL anguish over their decision to renounce OUR Australian Constitutional Monarchy. Australians have had a 'gutful' of party politicians who falsely swear allegiance to God, Queen and Country, only to place their own and their party interests above those of the People who elected them.
