Dear
Friends,
On Thursday, April 20th, 2000, I
hosted LOCAL LOVE 2000: THE INNER WEST SINGLES NIGHT,
which provided a great opportunity for the people of Strathfield and surrounding
areas to come together with other singles for an informal and relaxed evening of
fun.
This was followed by three more
events, including my THAI BANQUET at Homebush's Thai
Jasmine Restaurant on Friday, June 2nd, FRIDAY NIGHT OUT
at Enfield's Copper Scuttle Restaurant on Friday, June 9th, and COCKTAIL PARTY at Burwood RSL Club on Sunday, June
11th.
As part of my social commitment to
reducing local loneliness, I am pleased to announce the continuation and
expansion of this program to a regular schedule of events for singles, including
more dinners and cocktail parties, to give you the opportunity to meet the man
or woman of your dreams.
My social events calendar will also
provide a tremendous occasion to sample Strathfield's culinary delights and to
taste the foods and beverages of our local restaurants and
clubs.
Over the next few weeks, I
will be hosting the following dinners and cocktail
parties:
INDIAN
BANQUET on Friday, June 16th, at the Royal India Restaurant, 35 The
Boulevarde, Strathfield, at a cost of $30.00 per
person;
CHINESE BANQUET
on Friday, June 23rd, at Wan Fu Restaurant, Strathfield, at a cost of
$30.00 per person;
COCKTAIL
PARTY on Sunday, June 25th, at Burwood RSL Club, 96 Shaftesbury Road,
Burwood, at a cost of $15.00 per person; and
RUSSIAN BANQUET
on Friday, June 30th, at the Russian Club, 7 Albert Road, Strathfield, at
a cost of $30.00 per person.
I hope that you and your family and
friends and neighbours will join with me and numerous locals for a good night
out in Strathfield and by supporting our local restaurants and clubs.
This will also be a
great opportunity to catch up with friends that you haven't seen for ages or to
establish new and invaluable relations.
