Well, maybe not — the OED seems to think it's to do with 3D UIs, which sounds like something from the 80s :) Googling for "immersive UI" brings up a number of instances of what I had in mind. Again, I'm happy to change that if someone has a suggestion. -- Robin Berjon - http://berjon.com/
