Here are the results I found.
The locally-built book behaves properly, adding a files/ directory to the
tmp/en-US/html and tmp/en-US/html-single directories. As I noted on-list
yesterday, the PDF version does not work properly.
The problem is when I try to package the book using the "publican package"
command. The built book, when installed elsewhere, does not contain the files/
subdirectory. Thus, any links referencing it generate a 404 File Not Found error.
Fixed in the 1.6 branch and trunk.
Hope to have Publican 2 out the door within the week.
