Dirty hack alarm: Would it be possible to set the keywords to "re https://pulp.plan.io/issues/, ref https://pulp.plan.io/issues/, ..."? If I recall correctly, this means that when redmine bakes it down to a regex that probably "closes https://pulp.plan.io/issues/1234"; would still be invalid, but probably "closes https://pulp.plan.io/issues/ 1234" and "closes https://pulp.plan.io/issues/ #1234" would still work. So it probably won't work, but I figured I'd still throw it out as some dirty hack food for thought.
