Regression, marking as a 9.0 release blocker.
Mike, can you attach the server log with these steps:
1) systemctl --user stop pulseaudio.socket pulseaudio.service
2) pulseaudio -vv --log-time --log-target=file:/tmp/pulse.log (leave running in
a terminal)
3) make sure HDMI is selected
4) let the display sleep
5) wake up the display
6) ctrl-c in the terminal window where pulseaudio is running
7) systemctl --user start pulseaudio.socket
8) attach /tmp/pulse.log to this bug
