Actually, it is being used as a lookup key to well known descriptions.
I believe we should
- let the "name" correspond to the file name and be a unique key
- replace "name" with something else, maybe "description-key" in lack
of a better idea, which is used as this lookup key
- after this is done, recheck how we do duplicates. There was a
routine that placed indices on names and descriptions if it found more
than one, but I might have broken it... :-/
