A followup on the patch set I posted in October last year.
I added the surround21 name to alsa-lib a few months ago and alsa-lib
releases comes very rarely (and sometimes, that goes for PA releases too!),
so I think it's reasonable to include it in the next PA release to get the
full stack out there faster, even though there hasn't been a alsa-lib
release that includes it yet.
The surround21 name actually has some internal chmap support in alsa-lib
so we don't have to care about the chmap API for now.
