Hi,

I have a question not exactly related to pulseaudio, but rtkit.

I'm trying to add rtkit support to a library I'm developing,
https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Aravis.

In order to test rtkit, I'm using the rtstutter test from pulesaudio,
runnning on a fedora 21 setup.

rtkit is installed and the daemon is running.

But when I launch rtstutter, I get:

CPU0: Created thread.
CPU1: Created thread.
Failed to acquire real-time scheduling: Permission denied

Why rtstutter is not given real time scheduling ?

I'm not familiar with Fedora 21's config, but
 1) rtkit might write something in syslog
2) there is a known problem with systemd cgroup handling + CONFIG_RT_GROUP_SCHED enabled: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=747568
