I've compiled PulseAudio from git tag v7.1 - no changes.
Then recompiled kernel (I have 4.5.0-rc5 right now) of version 4.4.0, reboot - no changes.
Then was downgrading alsa-utils and libasound2* packages from 1.1.0-0ubuntu2 to 1.0.29-1ubuntu1 and still no changes with both PulseAudio 7.1 and 8.0.
Also tried to compile 7.0 - the same result, but I remember that both 6.0 and 7.0 definitely worked in past.
Profile "output:analog-stereo-output+input:analog-stereo-input" never appears.
What else can affect PulseAudio? Sincerely, Nazar Mokrynskyi github.com/nazar-pc Skype: nazar-pc Diaspora: [email protected] Tox: A9D95C9AA5F7A3ED75D83D0292E22ACE84BA40E912185939414475AF28FD2B2A5C8EF5261249 On 25.02.16 15:51, Tanu Kaskinen wrote:

It was 7.1 as packaged in Ubuntu 16.04: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/xenial/+source/pulseaudio I can compile custom build to give you some more debug information, just let me know what to do exactly. Also I can even give access to VM with this sound card to play with it live.I'd like to know if the problem is absent on the plain upstream 7.1 release, and occurs on the plain upstream 8.0 release. If that is the case, then we should be able to pinpoint the exact commit that introduced the regression with git bisect. If you do the bisecting yourself, the easiest way to see whether the build works is to run "pactl list cards" and check if the SB card has the "output:analog-stereo-output+input:analog-stereo-input" profile. -- Tanu
