I guess it's related to ofono, but I cannot find any official
documentation and its mailing-list seems too quite.
Found the problem. For a dependency typo the bluetooth plugins weren't
compiled.
The next issue is this error which raises when I connect the HFP profile:
E: [pulseaudio] backend-ofono.c: Deferred setup failed on fd -1:
Transport endpoint is not connected
What does that mean?
