Here there something that perhaps is not clear, both A2DP and HFP are
symmetric in terms of audio control, both sides can suspend and resume
the stream regardless of their role.
If you read the HFP 1.7 specification, it says, that the audio connection
may be initiated from both sides. That does however not mean, that a
SCO connection can be set up from both sides. If you take a look at the
diagrams 4.19 to 4.21 in the section 4.11 you can see that the actual
SCO connection is always initiated from the AG side.
