As I understand is: if you've no user session launched with X11 PulseAudio can't start because D-BUS services require to be authenticated. One of the way to authenticate with D-BUS is to use the X11 cookie.
Shall I start a pulseaudio server dedicated to the foobar user (the one who start my foobar daemon)? Or a "system" pulseaudio server?
