#391: Pulseaudio 0.9.13 stops working after some time. ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: nulleke | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: daemon | Severity: normal Resolution: | Keywords: ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Comment (by Edder):
I tried pulseaudio -vvv and the output doesn't change when cpu suddenly goes up (into the 20% range). It just keeps outputting the following lines: D: module-hal-detect.c: dbus: interface=org.freedesktop.Hal.Device, path=/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer_power_supply_battery_BAT1, member=PropertyModified Attaching gdb and calling bt (not sure how gdb works precisely) gives me the following: (gdb) bt #0 0xb7f7d410 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb7cd6c53 in poll () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0xb7ee05e9 in pa_mainloop_poll () from /usr/lib/libpulsecore.so.8 #3 0xffffffff in ?? () #4 0xb7f60ff4 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libpulsecore.so.8 #5 0xbfdd94f4 in ?? () #6 0x48fedc40 in ?? () #7 0x0000dc64 in ?? () #8 0xb7f60ff4 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libpulsecore.so.8 #9 0xbfdd95b4 in ?? () #10 0xb7f60ff4 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libpulsecore.so.8 #11 0x00000000 in ?? () By the way, the process doesn't seem to look and what happens depends on the application. With musicpd cpu just suddenly goes up and then it stays there (up from 2 to 20% on 800mhz). With flash the video stops, but sound goes on. With mplayer it all starts to video and sound both start to stutter. -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/391#comment:3> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
