#392: pulse audio prevents sound capture from working on thinkpad x300 ---------------------+------------------------------------------------------ Reporter: dvstin | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: daemon | Severity: normal Resolution: fixed | Keywords: ---------------------+------------------------------------------------------ Comment (by coling):
:) Yeah I guessed it wasn't xvidtune :p The two variables you set AUDIODEV and AUDIODRIVER will only have effect for sox (which is the "rec" program I made reference to in my example). Also just for reference you got the values mixed up. An AUDIODEV of /dev/dsp referes to OSS, so and AUDIODRIVER of alsa would not make sense. Anyway, if it's working for you then great :) -- Ticket URL: <http://www.pulseaudio.org/ticket/392#comment:12> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
