I can now confirm the problem to be the same with Ubuntu development
version's 0.9.13-2ubuntu1
(http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/main/p/pulseaudio/pulseaudio_0.9.13-2ubuntu1/changelog).
Basically it means I have to continue uninstalling pulseaudio for now, but
I will happily try any patches / versions that would possibly fix the
problem. If there is a way to debug the problem further myself, I can try
that too.
