knightk: off_t has a different size depending on whether
D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 is set, i.e. AC_SYS_LARGEFILE is
used in autoconf.
To be frank this is a fuckup on your distribution. Only legacy software
should be compiled without those flags set. OTOH it is a pretty bad choice
of libsndfile to expose off_t in the public API.
