#457: Pulseaudio's control of my LFE volume uses incorrect assumptions ---------------------+------------------------------------------------------ Reporter: mini | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: reopened Milestone: | Component: module-alsa-* Resolution: | Keywords: ---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
Comment(by lennart): Uh, i'd say this is a driver bug. The "Master" slider is supposed to influence every analog output. If it doesn't for you the driver needs to be fixed. Please bring this to the attention of the driver developers. You can tweak PA's mixer handling in a few ways. You could either define a full profile set in in /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/profile-sets/ for it and use that to define a mixer path of your own. Or, you load module-alsa-sink manually and use the control= parameter. But both of these solutions are just hack workarounds. The driver really should be fixed. -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/457#comment:9> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
