#727: Activating a raop module sink appears to re-map previously mapped streams to itself -----------------------+---------------------------------------------------- Reporter: peitschie | Owner: coling Type: defect | Status: new Milestone: | Component: module-raop-* Keywords: | -----------------------+---------------------------------------------------- I am running a 5.1 surround card as two virtual sound cards, which involves manually remapping the specific channels using the module-remap- sink command. The exact command I'm using in /etc/pulse/default.pa is:
load-module module-remap-sink sink_name=external_speakers master=alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-surround-51 channels=2 master_channel_map=front-center,front-right channel_map=front-left,front- right remix=no This maps correctly and appears to work fine. However, as soon as I active the module-raop-discover, which then detects a raop source, the originally remapped stream (external_speakers) suddenly gets reconnected to the raop source. I've attached a log of the output (pulseaudio -Cvv &> pulseaudio.log.txt) showing the streams being moved. This seems like a bug to me :-)... as I can find any good documentation explaining why the streams are being relocated on me. If I do the re- mapping after the raop source is connected, it all behaves as normal (i.e., the stream subscribes to the original master as specified in the module-remap-sink command). I've attached my default.pa and log files to help with this. -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/727> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
