#904: PulseAudio not "seeing" NVidia card

Hello,
I've re-installed PulseAudio.
I've run lspci, and I see the following:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) HD Audio
Controller
03:00.1 Audio device: nVidia Corporation Device 0be5 (rev a1)
However, when I open pavucontrol, and select the "Output Devices" tab, I
only see "Internal Audio Analog Stereo".
All I'm trying to achieve is to have sound played by Rhythmbox tranferred
over the HDMI cable to my monitor, which has integrated speakers.
If I can get PulseAudio to "see" the NVidia GeForce GTX 480 card, wouldn't
that achieve my objective?
