Issue #1845 has been updated by jamtur01. Status changed from Unreviewed to Duplicate Target version deleted (1.5.3)
Duplicate. Fixed in forthcoming 1.5.3. ---------------------------------------- Bug #1845: Facter 1.5.2 ipmess.rb creates invalid ruby variables http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/show/1845 Author: snemetz Status: Duplicate Priority: Normal Assigned to: Category: library Target version: Complexity: Trivial Keywords: In Facter 1.5.2 If there are vlan or alias interfaces, the . or : is put in the variable name. This is a simple error, the line: mi = interface.gsub('/:|\./', '_') should be mi = interface.gsub(/:|\./, '_') The interface names should also be changed to match. This can be done by changing line: Facter::IPAddress.get_interfaces.join(",") to Facter::IPAddress.get_interfaces.join(",").gsub(/:|\./, '_') ---------------------------------------- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
