I stopped having a direct need for this in my old job, and haven't come back to it since. I would like to provide this for the next major version, so I've targeted it there. Are you happy with the plan outlined in the 4th comment? I'm proposing adding a responsedata parameter where you simply specify this in the puppet manifest itself, rather than relying upon a separate file.
