That makes it clear, thanks. On the web page it would be useful to see something like "since 2.x.x" as it is always good to know what is supported across different versions. ---------------------------------------- Bug #7655: documentation for types includes vcsrepo https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/7655 Author: Henrik Lindberg Status: Needs More Information Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: documentation Target version: 2.6.x Affected Puppet version: Keywords: documentation types vcsrepo Branch: The documentation of types (http://docs.puppetlabs.com/references/stable/type.html#vcsrepo) includes the type "vcsrepo" which I can't find in the standard puppet distribution (version 2.6.4) which I obtained from macports. I found Issue 4334 which requests that vcsrepo should be included in the puppet core, but this was turned down. I suspect that vcsrepo is in the documentation by accident... What is the story with vcsrepo? (I know it is available at github). -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
