Issue #6854 has been updated by Todd Zullinger. Branch changed from git://jet.mox.net/~tmz/puppet.git tickets/2.6.next/6854 to git://jet.mox.net/~tmz/puppet.git tickets/2.6rc/6854
I've update the branch (and the branch name, as it was previously based on 2.6.next) to go on top of the current 2.6.9rc1 changes. To ensure anyone that builds packages from the spec file, we need to use 2.6.9 as the version and handle the rc1 portion in the release field. To rpm, 2.6.9rc1-1 is newer than 2.6.9-1, leaving folks stuck with older packages installed. One other change for 2.6.9 is to deal with the renaming of README to README.md. Otherwise, the rpm build fails because it can't find the README it was told to include in the documentation. All the other changes from Fedora/EPEL are included as well, as in previous versions of this patch. If needed, I can send this off to the list. ---------------------------------------- Bug #6854: Update Red Hat spec file https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/6854 Author: Todd Zullinger Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Todd Zullinger Category: Red Hat Target version: 2.6.9 Affected Puppet version: 2.6.7 Keywords: Branch: git://jet.mox.net/~tmz/puppet.git tickets/2.6rc/6854 The rpm spec file in conf/redhat has gotten a bit out of date.
