Issue #7986 has been updated by Stefan Schulte.
I just booted from an opensolaris LiveCD and the output of `pkg list -Hv` looks
... different (notice the package FMRI with no publisher)
[...]
pkg:/[email protected],5.11-0.111:20090508T153013Z installed ---
[...]
On the other end querying a specific package with a FMRI that I thought pkg
list whould return works:
pkg list -v pkg://opensolaris.org/SUNWTcl
FMRI STATE UFIX
pkg:/[email protected],5.11-0.111:20090508T153013Z installed ---
Anyone knows, why I dont see the publisher when running `pkg list` or is aware
of any way to tell `pkg` to not contract FMRIs?

When a package doesn't require updates, pkg returns with an exit code of 4
instead of 0.
<pre>
$ pkg install bash
No updates necessary for this image.
$ echo $?
4
</pre>
The pkg provider needs to check for exit code 4 and treat that as success for
checks.
