"rake deb" should also produce a Debian source package. I would not expect this 
to be used by very many people to actually build binary .debs themselves, but, 
it would add confidence to people browsing the APT repository that, if they 
needed to, they could patch and rebuild the debian source.

Also, it's trivial to do - just remove the -b flag from the debuild 
invocations, and copy the additional produced files:
