Dear puppet masters
I would like to request the following feature. Please make it possible to
manage block devices with the file provider.
E.g. having:
<pre>
file {
'/dev/mapper/mylun:
ensure => blockdev;
}
</pre>
makes it possible to use the following
<pre>
file {
'/mnt/mylun:
ensure => directory,
require => File['/dev/mapper/mylun'];
}
</pre>
I can already say that the code that checks if the path is a blockdev should
follow symlinks.
