Issue #11338 has been updated by Ryan Collins. Affected Puppet version set to 2.7.6
Whoops, should have put that in. Pushing the packages from http://downloads.puppetlabs.com/mac/ out with Apple Remote Desktop. Right now I push the packages out and then push out mkdir /var/lib with ARD. ---------------------------------------- Bug #11338: /var/lib under OS X 10.5.8 isn't created on installation https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/11338 Author: Ryan Collins Status: Needs More Information Priority: Low Assignee: Ryan Collins Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: 2.7.6 Keywords: Branch: When installing Puppet 2.7.6 on OS X 10.5.8, the folder /var/lib doesn't exist and doesn't get created, causing puppet to not work. Manually creating the folder fixes the problem and allows puppet agent to run. This doesn't appear to be a problem under 10.6.8 or 10.7.2. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
