Issue #15984 has been reported by Curtis Ruck. ---------------------------------------- Bug #15984: Puppet Master with Umask 0027 https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/15984
Author: Curtis Ruck Status: Unreviewed Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: 2.7.18 Keywords: Branch: err: /File[/var/lib/puppet/lib]: Could not evaluate: Could not retrieve information from environment production source(s) puppet://puppet/plugins I believe, puppet/plugins maps to /var/lib/puppet/lib on the puppetmaster, the permissions of that directory are root:root 750, and the puppet agent keeps them that way automatically. I've tried upping the permissions of /var/lib/puppet/lib to group of puppet (puppetmaster's group) or a permissions of 755, and the agents will temporarily work until puppetmaster's agent "fixes" them. I am running full selinux/enforcing and i've verified my SElinux contexts. I've been trying to figure out why puppetmaster is pulling from /var/lib/puppet/lib instead of /etc/puppet/modules -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
