Hi all, I am supporting a large fleet of HP-UX and have written some code to hopefully support four versions (11.00, 11.11, 11.23 & 11.31). I am interested to know if the work discussed in this thread is ongoing? I have looked at fixing bug #14674 first as it seems to me that it would somewhat simplify the job of providing support to HP-UX. I think fixing #14674 should happen first and probably should go in 1.6.x? Unfortunately, though, if I fix #14674 some of the work in this branch will need to be redone. Also, machinfo didn't exist until 11.23 so I am working on a different solution for the earlier HP-UX.
