Issue #11612 has been updated by Alex Harvey.

Shouldn't this be classified as a bug that needs to be fixed rather than a
feature that needs to be added?

Currently we have the following support for HP-UX in facter 1.6.12 -

    -bash-3.2$ find . -exec grep -il hp-ux {} \;
    ./CHANGELOG
    ./lib/facter/kernelrelease.rb
    ./lib/facter/virtual.rb
    ./lib/facter/domain.rb
    ./lib/facter/util/ip.rb
    ./spec/unit/kernelrelease_spec.rb
    ./spec/unit/util/virtual_spec.rb
    ./spec/unit/util/ip_spec.rb
    ./spec/unit/virtual_spec.rb
    ./spec/unit/id_spec.rb
    ./spec/unit/domain_spec.rb

When I try to get HP-UX CPU info -

    $ facter processorcount
    processor - invalid major number
    usage: lsdev [-h] [-d driver | -C class] [-b block_major] [-c char_major]
                 [-e major] [major] ...
