Hi Malcolm, thanks for the report. The console output has changed in 3, both colors and the removal of the notice tag. See #12080 and #13559. In puppet 3.0 these have become capitalized (Debug, Info etc) and the range of the colouring has changed which are fine but notice has disappeared.
