Issue #17489 has been updated by Garrett Honeycutt.
It also isn't a necessary piece of the code, unless you are managing Cisco devices, which would lend itself to being outside of Puppet core. This would help decouple the development cycles and support between the two. ---------------------------------------- Refactor #17489: Cisco support should be a separate module and not part of core https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/17489#change-76069 Author: Garrett Honeycutt Status: Needs Decision Priority: Normal Assignee: eric sorenson Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: device, cisco Branch: The Cisco tech for `puppet device` is not well supported and should be taken out of core. It's presence implies that it works and is supported. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
