I can't say how useful these facts are. But I do think that if the fact is there on linux and Solaris then it probably should be there on HP-UX as well. For the above example I assume physicalprocessorcount would be set to 2 (number of sockets) and if we're going to emulate the behaviour on Solaris then processorcount would be 6 and the length of the processorX array would be 12.
