The problem in this issue here is that we're using dynamically namespaced facts, which we need facter to be aware of. Coming back to this for the next release of facter is on my todo, but for now we can just live with the patch in my git tree to get the basic functionality there, and fix dynamic facts for facter 2.0. We also should make the virtual fact zone aware.
