No, I didn't because I think this is more complex than just defining the constants myself somewhere. All those classes in JRuby are auto-generated by some of their tools (I can't remember the name) which automagically maps some C libs symbols to ruby and vice-versa. So I think that if we can't access the constant, I fear there are lot of things that won't work later on.
