I've just spent some time updating the ticket system to reflect the current
state. If you do a search for "target version" is "Puppet - 2.6.2" you
should see the tickets that I believe we're working on for the 2.6.2
release.

A few tickets got left out of Markus's e-mail:
Ready for testing:
#4025 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4025) "ralsh service" fails
with "Unimplemented element" when using launchd provider if certain plists
are binary
#4226 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4226) Puppet ca_name
configuration setting should not default to the fqdn of the host.
#4783 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4783) rrd reporting not
generating rrd files

In process:
#4273 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4273) SSL debug information not
thread / process safe
#4629 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4629) puppet run Error 403 on
SERVER: Forbidden request
#4644 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4644) install.rb fails on
windows
#4758 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4758) puppet-lvm filesystem
provider broken in 2.6.1rc4
#4770 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4770) Problem file serving
standalone
#4777 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4777) puppet agent segfault
#4789 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4789) Length of the name of a
define
#4792 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4792) Duplicate definition
since 2.6.1 upgrade
#4804 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4804) Puppetmaster is not
parsing a sed command with "a\\$line" in it correctly
#4808 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4808) Intermittent "Could not
retrieve catalog from remote server: end of file reached"

If you think any of these tickets don't merit work for 2.6.2, or if you
think we've left anything out, please let us know.

Also, two tickets got included, IMHO, by mistake, and should not go into
2.6.2:
#4657 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4657) Customer-supplied .rb
files are not compatible with multiple environments or staleness check
#4781 (http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4781) Filebuckets intended to
be remote are still local
