I'm not a big fan of a complete wild-west with anyone having commit rights, but 
I agree that it's better to allow failure and revert than to work toward 
perfection up front.

I know Andy and Deepak are working furiously on this right now, even while I 
make their lives more complicated by emailing the world. :)
